JG Clothing Store
We try to be as green as we can. We minimise packaging, recycle as much as possible and limited use of paper. You won't get a paper print out of a receipt - they're emailed to you on PDF. We group our courier deliveries to reduce carbon emissions. We donate to earth & sea charities.
Jasper George Clothing
You'll be pleased to know our hoodies, sweaters and tees meet the following standards.
- REACH compliant
The aim of REACH is to improve protection of human health and the environment through better and earlier identification of the intrinsic properties of chemical substances and through strict use of permitted substances.
Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) is an independent, non-profit organisation that works with companies and factories to improve labour conditions for garment workers.
- GOTS, OE Blended, OE 100
Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is recognised as the world’s leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibres. It defines high-level environmental criteria along the entire organic textiles supply chain, including restricting the use of chemical substances and requiring compliance with social criteria. OE Blended applies to all goods that contain a mix of organic cotton and any other material. The OE 100 tracks the purchase, handling and use of 100% certified organic cotton fibres in yarns, fabrics and finished goods through the use of transaction certificates for factories that don’t yet comply to the GOTS standard.
- Organic cotton
Cotton grown without GM seeds, without harmful and polluting pesticides and fertilisers with a better water management. We pay a premium and decent crop price or wages. Cotton is alternated with food crops, giving farmers more diverse income while improving food security within the local community. Organic production preserves the soil, while conventional cotton production destroys it.
- Washing, dyeing and finishing
Our washing/ dyeing / finishing conforms with GOTS standards, OEKO TEX 100, Reach, exceeding them where possible.
Printed by hand in the UK using water based inks, the ink sinks into the garment to give an aged, worn effect.
Ponie Club Disco
